How to set-up lyrics on your Lock-Screen

Follow along with your favorite songs everywhere - on your Lock Screen and, coming soon, Dynamic Island, CarPlay, and Apple Watch. Here's how to enable these features in just a few steps.

Note: Live Activities and Widgets are premium features. If you're currently on a free plan, you'll need to upgrade to a Musixmatch Premium subscription before you can activate them.

  1. Open Musixmatch and go to the settings page

    You can find the setting page by clicking on the "Try Lock Screen Lyrics" banner, or clicking on the gear button ⚙️ on the top bar

  2. Enable Live Activities on iPhone settings

    You'll arrive at the Live Activities settings page. Tap on "Show Lock Screen lyrics". This will redirect you to your iPhone's Settings.

  3. Play a song and enjoy lyrics everywhere

    That's it! Start playing your songs from Spotify, Apple Music, or directly from the Musixmatch App. You will see the live activity widget directly on your Lock Screen. Soon, you will be able to enjoy it in your CarPlay display, or on your Apple Watch without any further action needed!
