Musixmatch Pro for Publishers is designed to streamline your catalog management, lyrics delivery, rights claims, and royalty administration in one centralized workspace.
Here is a quick overview of how to move through the tool and manage your publisher account:
1. Accessing Your Workspace
Log In: Access the platform at Musixmatch Pro using your Musixmatch credentials.
Switch Workspaces: If you manage multiple profiles (e.g., Artist or Label), hover over the Workspaces button on the left-hand navigation bar and select Publisher from the dropdown menu to enter your dedicated publishing dashboard.
2. Managing Your Catalog & Claiming Works
Catalog Overview: The Catalog section serves as your central repository to search registered musical works, inspect core metadata, check linked ISRCs, review copyright ownership splits, and download full catalog reports.
Claiming Rights: Go to the Claim tab to manually search for works by Title, Artist, or Songwriter. To claim a song:
Select the track(s) and enter your collection shares and territory scope (Worldwide or specific country inclusions/exclusions).
Input the ISWC (if available) and add original publishers and songwriters alongside their IPIs, share percentages, roles, and control statuses before saving.
3. Bulk Lyrics Submission
Upload Lyrics: Navigate to Catalog > Add Lyrics or the Lyrics section to deliver lyrics in bulk free of charge using accepted formats (CSV, JSONL, DDEX MEAD, or ERN) built according to Musixmatch formatting guidelines.
Track Submission Status: Go to Request > Bulk lyrics upload to track ingestion statuses:
Success / Distributed: Lyrics are ingested and delivered across digital services.
Quality Improvements: Lyrics are ingested but require formatting adjustments—click Review and Send to edit and fix issues.
4. Reports, Royalties, and Taxes
Insights & Reports: Access the Insights tab to view quarterly royalty statements, download breakdown files by service, and select usage files for export.
Withholding Tax (WHT): Register or update your yearly tax documentation directly via the Withholding Taxation link inside the Insights tab to maintain eligible reduced tax rates.
Get Paid: Once accrued earnings reach the €100 / $100 threshold per currency, issue an invoice per currency detailing your company info, VAT number, tax details, and period description, then send it to royalties@musixmatch.com.

Explore Music Lens directly from your workspace (or via lens.musixmatch.com) to leverage AI-driven insights, sync search, and automated catalog analytics to maximize the commercial reach of your repertoire.
