Why is my microphone active while using the app?

We use your microphone to identify the songs that you're listening to, and we are not using this audio in any other way. No tracking, no marketing, no listening to your private conversations 😉

To enhance the experience and improve the time to discover a track, we start pre-listen to your microphone as soon you open the "Identify" tab.

If you don't want us to use your microphone, you can still disable the Microphone Permissions from your iPhone Settings by following the steps below:

Got to "Settings"

Search for "Musixmatch"

Uncheck the Microphone Permission
