How can I monetize my lyrics catalog?

If you have an active deal with a publisher, you are entitled to receive royalties accrued via the use of lyrics on our partner services and DSPs. 

Please keep in mind the following scenarios: 

I) You have an active deal with a publishing company: 

1. If you have an active deal with a publishing company, and this company has a direct deal with Musixmatch (or it is sub-published by one that does), you are already receiving your due royalties. You can double check that with your publisher; 
2. If you have an active deal with a publishing company, and they don’t have a deal with Musixmatch, you can redirect them to our publisher page and suggest signing up to Musixmatch Pro for Publishers. 

II) You are a self-published songwriter: 

We are working on providing royalty payouts to self-published songwriters, and will let you know when this feature is available.

Currently we only support royalty payouts to publishers from $100/€100 quarterly, with any insufficient balance rolling over to the next quarter.  If you believe you are entitled to royalties in an amount close to or beyond this threshold, or if you need further information, please contact us at publishers-support@musixmatch.com.
