Synced lyrics | 7 Points |
Voted lyrics | 2 Points |
Translated line | 1 Point |
Mood tagged | 1 Point |
* Bonus points are given based on the impact of your taken action. For instance, you can be awarded more points by adding lyrics for a new release by a famous artist.

The types of badges you can earn are:
Academy | According to the modules and tests completed in the Academy. |
Rank | According to the points earned by your contributions. |
Transcription | According to the number lyrics you've transcribed |
Sync | According to the number of songs you've synced |
Translation | According to the number of lines you've translated |
Mood | According to the number of moods you've tagged |
Misc | According to the number of songs you've reviewed |
In addition to these badges, Musixmatch assigns the Rock Star badge 🎸 to users who have reached the Master level, earned at least 300 points, and obtained the Academy Graduate Certificate.
🆓 🤩 The Rock Star badge is a big deal because it grants a year of Musixmatch Premium for free. After the one-year subscription expires, you will need to manually subscribe to the Premium plan in order to continue receiving its benefits. It is a one-time award and does not renew automatically.
