About the Academy tests
The Academy is made up of lessons and tests in the 4 areas of Musixmatch Contribution: Lyrics, Sync, Translation, and Tagging.
The lessons reflect the content of the Writing Guidelines and the tests cement the knowledge gained through them.
What if I get a question wrong?
Don’t panic! You can re-take the test as many times as you need to, and instant and detailed feedback will help you for future attempts.
How many questions do I have to get right to pass a lesson?
The pass rate for each lesson is 80%, meaning you’ll have to get at least 4 out of 5 of the questions correct to progress.
What if I don’t have time to complete a lesson?
No stress! You can back out of a lesson at any time, and pick up where you left off when you’re ready. Just make sure you don’t refresh or close the page, as this will reset your progress.
