🚫 It's not possible to change your email. You can open a new account through your new email, but your profile history (points, levels, rank, etc) will be lost.
Please also consider that the email address you use on your Musixmatch account is not made publicly visible nor shared with other users.
🤔 The possibility to change your username on Musixmatch.com or in the Musixmatch Lyrics app depends on your type of account.
🧡 Direct Musixmatch login:
You can edit your name in your profile settings.
🔗 Third-party login method (e.g., Google, Facebook, Apple):
The username shown will be the same as the one on the site of your chosen log-in method, and can be changed only on the third-party site directly.
If you wish to change your name without changing the name in the third party account, we recommend you create a new account with the email log-in method.
🚨 Please note, though, that when opening a new account your profile history (points, levels, rank, badges, etc.) cannot be transferred and will be lost.
We understand this is not an ideal solution, but it's the best we're currently able to offer due to third-party limitations.
Remember that there are 4 login options: Facebook, Google, Apple, and email address.
Each login method used will correspond to a different account.
If you have logged in via multiple methods (i.e. 1 Facebook and 1 Google), you'll have multiple different accounts.
